Yes: Chest wall pain may be associated with muscular strain during and after an illness. Please monitor your temperature and have a follow up visit with your PCP. It may take weeks for a pneumonia to resolve and sometimes there is a need for iv or extended antibiotics. Drink fluids, rest and treat your pain with Ibuprofen until seen.
