Exam needed: The lump may be a cyst, ingrown hair, hemangioma or a wen. In view of this skin lesion and the discomfort you're experiencing, I recommend consulting a physician who will inspect the skin lesion and carefully examine your axillae(armpits) to check for lymph gland enlargement.
