Deepred purple rash: The rash you described can be a bruise from trauma. Does it get lighter or disappear when gently pushed in? If it persists for a few days, spreads, gets swollen or tender or you develop other symptoms like fever, bleeding, etc, please consult your primary care giver.

Rash: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.
