Depends: what kind of damage you did. Give it some time see how will evolve. Not much else you can do. It I was to bet it will get better, how much better is hard to tell.

Avocado Hand: You may have cut the nerve. Sometimes this can heal on its own but most of the time the nerve has to be repaired to regain sensation. You usually would like to have this nerve repaired within 7 days of the injury if the sensation does not return.
