My 5 yr old son broke his humerus midshaft it was displaced.hasnt had any pain in 5 days..it has been 9 since the accident. does this mean its healing?

Doctor STAT: If he had a simple or compound fracture with displacement, and it was not set by a orthopedic surgeon...That's big problems! if he had it set, and now it is not hurting, then i would expect he's in a cast and things are healing. If a bone is ever broken, it must be set back to correct position before healing can occur properly.
