Not really: The virus need to propel itself from a living being, it may not last long in gas if that were so, we all be infected by now, the principal way of transmisión is direct contact with an ill person because it need also saliva to propel to another person.

COVID 19: The virus is able to live on various surfaces for differing periods of time. Gas pump handles can be contaminated by many different germs. Consider wearing disposable gloves, using wipes or putting sanitizer on your hands after handling the gas pump handle. However, most COVID 19 is spread via the respiratory route - minimal spread trough surface contact.
