COVID 19: Your pet is much more likely to pick up COVID 19 virus on his fur if he has a lot of physical contact with a person who is infected with the virus. It would be very unlikely for your dog to pick up this virus just walking around outside. The virus can live on soft surfaces for short periods of time. I don't think there is any need to disinfect your dog after going for a walk.
