Yes.: If a person who has viral hepatitis infects someone else with viral hepatitis, the first person still carries the virus. It isn't like passing the virus to someone else means that the first infected person has 'given away' his or her virus to someone else. It's like a smile. If you smile at someone and 'give' them a smile, you still have your face and can smile again &again. Hope this helps.
