No- see below: Cold sores are not a symptom of corona virus but since it creates an opening in the skin avoid touching with unwashed hands

COVID 19: Cold sores can pop up when your immune system is stressed. So although cold sores are not a specific COVID 19 symptom, it makes sense that there could be an increase if someone does get infected.
