Hello. my wife went for a scan at the gnaecologist and unfortunately there was no heartbeat. the doctor said that she is 8 weeks pregnant. could it be possible that there is no heartbeat yet and should she go for a second opinion?

2nd scan Reasonable : Most ultrasound scans are quite accurate, & an 8 week fetus should definitely have a heartbeat visible on the scan, but it is reasonable to get another scan before making a final decision what to do, as this is a precious human being. I am so sorry you have this difficult situation. A compassionate pastor or counselor can be great support as you walk through this time
