Good day. i have had a constant headache now for 8 days. i have been to my gp, i was given an injection and some tension relief pain meds. this was 4 days ago. i am still with the headache in the same place, all the time. please any advice?

More information: Most benign headaches (migraine, tension) will resolve before 8 days, though this is not 100% guaranteed. A sudden, very severe headache (which you did not describe) could be a brain hemorrhage. Infection such as encephalitis would be possible if a fever, for example. You need to see a physician or supply more details. Onset? Location? Fever? Character of headache? (throbbing, sharp?)
