Teething: It may very well be due to teething. Once the 1st baby tooth's erupted take you son to a Pedodontist, a pediatric dental specialist, for an initial examination. Pediatricians are great, but they are medical specialists, not dental specialists. In the meantime purchase a couple of teething rings that you can refrigerate. The cold rings will help your child self-sooth.
