Sore throat: What you describe could be anything form a viral throat infection, to strep throat to acute tonsillitis. Viral illnesses like mono can have these symptoms. Only way to tell all apart is through a good exam and often throat culture or blood tests to determine source/cause. See your doctor or urgent care center.
