Not so simple : While a white blood cell count can tell you if the body has adequate cells to fight infections, this really is only a surface check on your immunity. Proper diet, sleep, exercise, stimulating mental activities, and happy mood are all helpful for a healthy immune system. Zinc supplementation, astragalus, vitamin C have all been suggested as ways to enhance immunity ( some science, plus hearsay).
