Oxygen restriction: In making cotton masks, the goal is to have enough layers to filter out medium to large particles. Thinsulate is a very restrictive fabric allowing minimal gas exchange in the form of water vapor. It may restrict how much oxygen you can get while breathing and cause you to feel dizzy. Two layers of a medium weave fabric should provide enough filtration for common use.
