A member asked:

Are illegal immigrants in the u.s. going to be able to get any care if they're sick with covid-19? are governments considering helping people in such a position?

Hard to say: The USA is generally a compassionate nation, & healthcare providers would be unlikely to ever turn away a seriously ill patient, but the resources are in many areas being strained even for our own citizens & the legal immigrants, so certain areas may be more strict than others. USA welcomes immigrants but they must take the path to become legal to expect the benefits of citizens-expensive!!

We will have to see.: I am not sure that many emergency rooms will be turning away critically ill patients even if they don't have money in their pockets. Many Americans will likely not have the ability to pay hospital bills if they require long & intensive treatment. One of my concerns is about the survival of hospitals who are expending great amounts of money, but may not be paid for a number of their services.
