If i'm likely to get sick with covid-19 eventually, would it be better to get sick now and get it over with?

Not necessarily: Perhaps if you had a mild case of disease that might be worth it. BUT- how do you know if your symptoms would be mild or not? There are a number of clinical trials in progress. If you had severe symptoms, you might benefit from medications which are shown to be beneficial (through clinical trials).
