Local issue : Whether any kid should be in school during a pandemic is a local issue based on local numbers. Kids seem to fare very well with covid-19. Data in the US is also showing those with an asthma label are not experiencing the increased disease risk as we expected earlier.

COVID 19: Don't know when this was written. Children tend to fair well overall with COVID 19. Does the child have severe, uncontrolled asthma? - because with adults that can be a risk factor. When & if school open back up, each family will need to make this decision. Would get input from your child's pediatrician too.
