Spotting: for a few days, maybe a week. Then should stop, unless starting up period.

Saline U/S ?'s: A saline ultrasound requires injection via the cervix into the uterus, and with cervical inflammation, can cause intermittent light bleeding. If the spotting continues, see your gyn physician who may need to cauterize the cervix.
