You will have to follow local regulations at the time of arrival that may change subject to viral activity in the region, vaccination status, etc. you will be informed by local authorities most likely of requirements that may include testing as well.

This depends on any symptoms you may have or a negative COVID test done before you flew from NZ. Also SOUTH AFRICA may have quarantine laws depending from what country you arrived from. Check with the airline or SA. immigration dept.
