Pregnancy/bleeding: In the first three months, bleeding can come from implantation of the egg, or edges of the developing placenta and still be ok. Bleeding and cramping increase the concern for miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Later the cervix can create bleeding that is mostly harmless. In the last three months, placenta problems, from location or early separation can cause dangerous bleeding. See your doctor.
