I recently went onto the 3 month contraceptive injection, after about a month and a half i started having a light period which has not stopped 10 days now. could this be due to the contraceptive or should this be looked into by a dr?

May take : a couple of more months for the uterine lining to stabilize with the shots. If bleeding is heavy see your doctor.
