Ovul tsts: negative?: Tests for ovulation may miss the actual peak of "luteinizing hormone" ( LH) , which is what the tests detect. With "regular cycles", ovulation is almost certainly occurring, but start testing on day 10 through 18 to be more certain to "catch" the LH peak. Fertility is possible for 3-4 days after the peak.
