Hormone manipulation: Injectable contraception can cause variable bleeding/menstrual cycles. Usually oral contraceptives regulate bleeding quite well, but this may take a few months to settle into a regular pattern. If there is any possibility of pregnancy, get a pregnancy test done. Just in case.
