COVID-19 precautions: If sick enough to be hospitalized, you would have a private room with few or no visitors allowed. If at home, you would stay inside, but otherwise free use of the house, perhaps wearing a mask to protect others in the household. Staying in one room probably would not effectively protect other household members. No outside visitors, of course.
