Sore throat: There could be many reasons for this . common things are common. sore throat with Upper respiratory tract infection will be on top of list. it could be viral or bacterial. Ulcers could be aphthous ulcers. i hope you don't have history of Inflammatory bowel disease?? if fever or ongoing symptoms then see your doctor. Get throat swabs done and antibiotics if bacterial infection.

Viral: Could be hand-foot-mouth disease, could be a canker sore, could be oral herpes, could be a measles. Hard to say but overall sounds viral and likely benign. Watch for any high fevers or shortness of breath. If worse contact a doc.
