COVID: there are many drugs that they are using that decrease the viral load of COVID in the our bodies currently. There are many vaccines that are currently in the developmental stages.

"Novel" Virus: This is a "novel" virus which means we haven't come across human infections with sar cov-2 virus before. Thus, doctors and scientists will need to find out what medications are effective .
