Someone in classroom was coughing and has runnynose and was next to me. should i be concerned that he has coronavirus and already infected me?

Maybe. That would depend on the amount of local covid activity and whether the person actually had it. Public testing is often available at no cost in the community. Contact your local health agency for guidance.

The incubation period is typically 3 to 5 days and as long as 14 days. Testing in day 5 post exposure is recommended. Watch for signs of fever and difficulty breathing.

If you are vaccinated the risk of getting sick is minimal. If you get any symptoms over the next 2 weeks, you may get tested for Covid at your City/County health department. Wish you good health!

If either of you were not masked and/or not vaccinated, it is likely that if that person has COVID-19,they could spread it to you.If you were vaccinated (and boosted), although you still may contract the virus, you will likely not become very ill, but with Omicron(the prevalent strain now), you are more likely to become somewhat ill than with previous strains. So, get vax'd, boosted,& wear a mask!
