Scurvy: Vitamin C deficiency is rare in modern era. Historically, it was reported in sailors of 18th century. Common symptoms include gum swollen, easy bleeding, impaired wound healing, bone pain, fatigue and weakness, etc. Memory loss has not been directly linked to the vitamin C deficiency, certainly possible. Some patients with severe scurvy did have psychiatric change.
