ER can evaluate: Most people have a headache at some time, such as from colds and flus, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... Some people try OTC options such as Tylenol, Motrin, Aleve, Excedrin, etc... However, a "worst ever headache" or a really severe headache should be seen in the ER right away, as a very serious problem can be the cause.
