Usually ok, but...: Keflex (cephalexin) is an antibiotic that comes as a liquid for kids and people who cannot swallow pills. It usually comes in capsules for adults because capsules are slick and easy to swallow. Almost anyone above Kindergarten age can self-teach to swallow pills, by practicing with cupcake sprinkles. Put a piece on the back of the tongue and drink water. The river of water just washes it down.
