How's applesauce?: According to http://www.drugs.com/pro/cephalexin.html, and http://en.allexperts.com/q/Pharmacy-1407/2011/2/Cephalexin-2.htm, its OK to open the cap and sprinkle on applesauce. Must be sure you consume the entire dose, and to do so within 15-20 min of mixing with the food. You just avoid extremely acidic foods containing, say, lemon juice or vinegar. The taste may be a problem. Hope that helps.
