Hemorrhoids: Although uncomfortable this is unfortunately a common problem seen post-partum. I would suggest working on stool softening regimen and bowel habits to reduce prolapsing. If this continues then I would suggest going to nearby academic center to find colorectal surgeon comfortable handling your hemorrhoids as these could potentially be banded in an outpatient setting. No urgent surgery required now.

How long does a typical internal hemorrhoid bleed for? It is only during bowel movements and it is not prolapsed.
