The shoulder pain is on the left side but i am getting a pain on my right upper abdomen below rib cage.

Right upper: Pain in the right upper abdomen may be due to gall bladder or liver pathology. The left shoulder pain may be unrelated. Gall bladder pain often radiates around to the right side of the back and the right upper abdomen is tender when the liver or gall bladder are inflamed. I recommend going to the hospital emergency room for prompt examination and testing.
