Evaluation: Check the baby's temperature, and if the temperature is 100.4 or higher, additional evaluation including blood cultures is advised. The feeding issue may be related to reflux but infection should be ruled out. Continue to nurse, but if bottle fed, an infant electrolyte solution for one day may help to relieve symptoms.
