M.D.: Congratulations. It is optimal that you begin treatment with a specialist in this area. Pre natal vitamins, regular healthy meals, and milk/dairy are advised. Avoid the use of medications as much as possible, particularly in the first trimester. Your local pharmacist has a database in the U.S. of risks of medications taken during pregnancy. For allergies, avoid the trigger, rinse nasal passages.
