Not a good idea: Zoloft, (sertraline) an antidepressant is therapy for some who suffers from this disorder. Unfortunately alcohol is too often used by the patint as the "medicine" which is supposed to help the depression while it only makes things worse. Many people DO use alcohol with antidepressants but it is not only a bad idea but one which causes people to think the pill will solve their problem but continue alcohol use
