A member asked:

Yesterday i began having pain in my right testicle. the pain then moved up into the lower right portion of my abdomen. it is not sharp, just a dull ache, when i push on it it is not worse. any idea what it could be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: A testicle should not ache for no reason, so one's primary care doctor can check, and refer to a urologist and send for a testicular ultrasound scan if needed. Testicle area aches and pains can be due to too much motion during sports (lack of a jock strap), an inguinal hernia, prolonged erections, trauma (getting hit/kicked), torsion (an Emergency), certain infections, testicular cancer, etc...
