I was prescribed diane 35 for acne, excessive hair, and late menstrual cycles. i am halfway through so around 15 days and these past two days i started getting acne and this past week breast pain. should i be concerned ? please explain sudden acne.

Diane: This medication is a specific estrogen and progesterone pill that is designed to help with acne and signs of androgenization. Breast tenderness is a documented side effect. Given you just started the pill the initial acne may be possible. Probably worth checking a pregnancy test at this time if a possibility.
