Hello, i have some terrible food poisoning- runny tummy and vomiting- nothing left in my stomach so basically vomiting foam or nothing. please assist?

Food poisoning?: Could be viral gastroenteritis.Is there any abd. pain/fever/chills/blood or mucus in the stool. Try imodium OTC 2 tabs after each diarrhea, maximum can take 8 times a day(16 tabs). Drink pedialyte/adult electrolyte solution. If symptoms persist > 2 days go to your PCP pl. to get you checked. May need IV fluids if severely dehydrated.Need antibiotics if it is suspicious of bacterial origin.
