Ive just recently had bad cramps during my period that last for hours or more. i also have cramps that happen when im not on my period when i fun or do physical activity. my periods are also very heavy which never happens. do i see a doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Birth control pills (contain hormones) can be used to help other conditions besides birth control. The pills can help women with acne, frequent periods, heavy periods, painful periods, etc... If a woman wants medication for menstrual cramps, an Ob-Gyn doctor can help, after an evaluation to be sure nothing unusual is happening in the body. The doctor can assess for endometriosis.
