Hypertriglyceridemia: If your serum triglyceride concentration is between 150 and 500 mg/dL, this is considered "mild to moderate" elevation. In the absence of risk factors for coronary heart disease, this may not be significant. You could bring your level down with aerobic exercise, avoiding concentrated sugars, and maybe taking a fish oil supplement (3000 mg per day). Fish oils can have GI and metabolic side effects.
