Niacin: Niacin has been studied frequently over the years and studies show a 10% to 25% reduction in LDL with Niacin. There is not as much evidence, but niacin does have an effect on lower BP too. Improved glucose metabolism too. Those that advocate niacin recommend taking it with Vitamin B complex and thiamine.
