Depends on details: A fasting blood sugar of 104 mg/dL in a person who could have prediabetes leads to a HgbA1c blood test (no need to fast for HgbA1c test). Glucose level: 104 is within normal limits. Important, however, before embarking on any exercise regimen to have a complete physical to rule out surprises. Your Physician can also review your diet to see if there should be any changes made. Keep a list of everything you eat, and when, including snacks, and take it with you to your next doctor's appointment.
