Symptoms of Covid include: fever, cough, stuffy/runny nose, sore throat, headache, body aches and loss of smell/taste. If you haev more than 3 of these symptoms, you should be tested for Covid 19, even if you are vaccinated.

A common cold is usually self limited to a week and not associated with high fever. COVID 19 is more similar to influenza but also may present with fee or mild symptoms. If a contact concern, testing recommended. Allergies are typically associated with clear runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and sneezing. An antihistamine may be helpful.

Sometimes it’s difficult to tell. I would recommend testing if you aren’t sure. Testing is free and widely available. Best to test between 3-7 days of illness. Mask until you’re better and gave a negative test.
