Hi! ive been getting pink eye for the past 6 weeks. it comes and goes. two different gps have said it was pink eye and have prescribed torbradex & maxitrol. we tested for allergies but it came back negative. my sinuses are also slightly sore. ?

Possibilities: The differential for red eye include the following: viral or bacterial conjunctivitis, allergic conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, pinguecula, pterygium, corneal ulcer. Sounds like your antibacterials have not resolved the issue. The recurrence with sinus problem would suggest a blockage such as nasolacrimal duct. This drains into the sinuses and if obstructed would cause recurrent eye redness.
