Have left side abdominal and back pain for 6 weeks. pain is below the sternum and deep inside abdomen more towards the back. been having nausea and loss off appetite. omeperazole helps the nausea but still have back pain. cbc and lft normal?

Abdominal pain: Left upper abdominal pain can be associated with various conditions. Lower lung problems such as mass or infiltrate possible. Left upper abdomen contains the spleen, colon and especially your kidney.

Agree with Dr. H: Pancreatic disorders are one more cause of pain the abdomen going to the back. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. Wish you good health!
