I just completed a 12hr road trip. while driving we stopped for gas about 3-4x and stopped just to jump and stretch on the side of the road once. could i have dvt? how would i know?

Pain & swelling: Signs of a DVT are calf pain and lower leg swelling. You did the right thing by taking breaks during the trip. Get out an walk around the car a couple of times or down the aisle of a plane every hour to prevent it. Also don't use nicotine in any way. There can be DVT's that have no symptoms & go away on their own and there is no way to tell without testing.Prevention by moving every hour is best
