We have twins, 6 months old and was treated for an bacterial infection in icu a week ago, twin 1 started coughing and now twin 2 also coughing, no other symptoms of illness. must we rather take them to the dr to be treated?

Confusing post: Did the kids just exit the ICU or was that a while ago. If it was just a week ago it would be wise to contact someone on that treatment team for guidance , since they know the kids situation/findings. You have not provided enough info to decide is is or is not related to the earlier illness.

If they were intubated, sometimes a cough is related to irritation of the throat and upper airway.
