Does cardiac mri show function of the heart? like if my cardiac mri comes back normal does that mean the heart is functioning ok?

Heart function: Cardiac MRI does not directly measure heart function, but it is very good at showing anatomic abnormalities. If MRI is normal, usually the heart is functioning normally. Fr true measure of heart function, ultrasound (cardiac echo) usually is used.
